Job Title: Supplier Development Engineer
Location: Tianjin, China
Report to: Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
• Learn SQM Manual, with special focus on ASQP process;
• Understand the HOPE assessment result & findings;
• Follow up the SQM Deployment Action Plan in SharePoint with action owners to ensure the updated status of each Actions;
• Daily Checking with SQE & Sourcing Technical Support to ensure analysis & actions done for each supplier NCR;
• Coordination with SQEs to ensure supplier development action plans are updated per schedule, loaded to SharePoint & provide support needed;
• Coordination for the KOM with priority suppliers for the SQM introduction;
• Organize monthly phone meeting with priority suppliers to check the status of SQM deployment and provide support needed;
• Monthly select buyers’PO to audit the whole ASQP process. Identify findings & follow improvement actions;
• Quarterly perform joint HOPE assessment with Quality. Issue assessment report, result score for Sourcing;
• Based on all the audit, assessment, propose continuous improvement actions & follow accordingly.
Requirement:
• Bachelor degree of Engineering or above, good English both speaking and writing;
• At least 3 years purchasing or supplier quality management, or process experience in mechanical manufacturing;
• Technical background of machining, welding or casting & forging;
• Good quality knowledge and familiar with quality tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP, MSA, 5S, LEAN / TPS, 6-Sigma, 8D, etc);
• Good at ***, implementing and auditing process;
• Good inter-personal skills and communication skills, strong team work spirit;
• Be able to to work under pressure, and willing to travel (20-30%).
